Say hey! 2024 has been ALL CHANGE for me: - In April*** I launched an electrolyte concentrate brand called Oshun (drinkoshun.co) with my partner @knowjack_ and it’s growing faster than I’d ever imagined. Our mission is to make our customers a little bit happier through better hydration. I LOVE IT! 😍🌊 - Hydration is my second deep dive into health CPG. Previously I launched and sold a supplement company specialising in sleep and energy. - Once upon a time I was a pro swimmer, today I'm a pro dad and husband. *** THAT SAME MONTH OF APRIL *** my family and I moved from England to the south of France. HYDRATION BRAND DRYWATER APPROACHING $100M IN SALES According to Orange County Business Journal - hydration brand DryWater is the latest in the electrolyte craze to set its sights on $100M in annual sales; just two years after launch. The clean hydration brand is backed by Raptor Group and Vanquish Equity, with a new funding round planned for the coming months. DryWater is expanding its retail footprint from 1,500 Walmart doors and 6,000 Walgreens to add 41,000 doors in a single year. DryWater uses an NSF Certified Sport electrolyte formula and focuses its marketing on women's sports. This strategy targets the brand's 80% female consumer base while avoiding the high media costs of traditional sports marketing. Clean hydration is one of the most crowded shelves in grocery right now with Liquid IV, LMNT, Nuun, Ultima and Cure all competing for the same space.
