These past 11 days have been horrifying. If you haven’t cried or stayed up at night, you’re probably out of the loop. What is truly terrifying, as an Israeli Jew, is that before the IDF even reacted, protests broke across the entire world. Some screaming “gas the Jews”. Some praying for wiping out Israel as a whole. This obviously doesn’t represent all protesters, but the effect is chilling. Jewish schools stayed closed. Jewish/Israeli families across the entire world tried to stay at home and not display their origin in public. I didn’t choose to be born Jewish. I’m not religious and I definitely don’t wish for anyone to get hurt, regardless of their origin country, ethnicity or religion. I wish I could get through to some of the people sending hate my way this past week that I have nothing against them personally, let alone Islam as a whole. I’m worried for my family and friends in Israel. All of them. This includes the religious Muslims, the Christians, the LGBTQ+, and religious Jews. Guess what - we all have respect for one another and can be equally hit by a rocket. But for some bizarre reason, I’m also worried for my family in the United States. Those who may or may not have anything to do with what’s going on in Israel. That is fucked up. That is scary.

I say this as a former journalist, not as a spokesman. The responsible approach tonight would have been: “There are reports of an explosion at a hospital in Gaza. The circumstances are unclear. Hamas is blaming Israel. We’ll return to this story after we look into it & verify.”

Make no mistake: Hamas is trying to show a “humane” face (“we’re taking good care of a hostage”), but this is what they actually did: - Burnt whole families - Shot a 6-month old baby in the head - Burnt a one year old baby - Cut the head off a baby - Shot a father that was covering/hugging his wife and 2 children, and then shot them - Handcuffed two teenage girls and burnt them alive - Slaughtered hundreds of innocent partiers - Kidnapped an 84 year old woman So don’t buy Hamas’ cover up. Share so the world knows: Hamas=Nazis.
