Who ever wrote this did not play Pirate Nation at all! For context Pirate Nation was the biggest web 3 game for 2+ years! No other game came close with its economy or player base! It did attract a lot of farmers but during events those farmers helped fuel whales! Pirate nation also had more web 3 whales than any other game by far! Pirate Nations failure was more so the lack of Monetization + scaling to numbers to fast which caused 4-6months of 6-12h wait times! They legit grew so fast the crashed a chain and had to make more! And note their chains did more mags than all other chains combined ……. No other team has ever come close to that! They legit had to invent new technology (no other web 3 teams seem to do that) and still found fully on chain was to expensive and slower which was unfortunate but they pushed the market forward so much and once tech gets better fully on chain games could make a come back? Saying the game had poor game design is straight up lies! Their game design was way better than any other web 3 game and there’s a reason why everyone left web 3 after PN pivoted and that was because it was everyone’s last hope for web 3 gaming! (Over 100+ whales have told me this 1 on 1 and a whale is someone who has 1mil+ liquid in crypto who all of them held and played PN) Next time you write an article please have more than 1 source Note in not happy the game closed down but saying the game had bad design is straight up lies
