@theGOKuff You taking the piss? Its cheaper to go from liverpool to Italy than it is to get the train to london. And then that train will be delayed because theres a leaf on the track and/or the wrong type of rain is falling.

@SuperJoeFelix @Tom_H_04 Saturday's was a dive. No idea on tonight's obviously until highlights come out but it doesn't really matter, both given and this cracking title race rumbles on.🤯

Yes we need a back up striker but who would want to play third support act to the two best strikers in the national league? It would need ti be a young talent wanting to learn their craft in mens pro football. It wouldn’t be anyone experienced. Unless…the return of the king? 👀

@ChimeraX2021 @the_aze @BBCNews Maybe just maybe they shouldn’t be adding extra train paths from new operators if the incumbent operator can’t operate the service reliably? Not to mention running diesels under the wires all the way from Stirling to Euston.

@alanlmsca @IXCUG Firstly they never really ‘owned’ anything did they? Secondly where’s the evidence for all this money that went overseas?

@IXCUG I agree, hence why I feel they have forgotten why ‘our’ railways exist. During the 80s and 90s the government was selling off all ‘our’ assets. We had TOCs owned by European nationalised railways, so a good amount of our money went overseas. No wonder the country is broke!

The railway should be for public good, not private profit. Any operator should ferry passengers to their destination where at all possible. As more TOCs are nationalised, automatic ticket acceptance must become the norm. No exceptions, no excuses. ^CC

Hi @CrossCountryUK as your driver hasn't turned up for the 18.45 Nottingham to Birmingham, please can you confirm whether or not my advance booking single ticket is valid on the 18.56 EMR changing at Derby?

@njak_100 @philatrail Not just weekends, LNER removing ‘off peak’ means anything before 0930 / 1430 leaving KGX is a anytime ticket which is quite frankly ridiculous

@CrossCountryUK Ok but it will be over 60mins for passengers for York as it will be quicker to wait for the service via Doncaster

@Joeya96 Hello. Afraid we can only hold a service when there isn't any alternatives within 60+ minutes due to the potential knock on effect. If you do end up missing it, your ticket will automatically be accepted on our 1S43. Apologies. ^LA

Hello @CrossCountryUK any chance we could get 1S41 to be held at SHF for passengers off 1F25 due to the ECML disruption?

👀 We see you, Reform UK. You whip up fear and seek to divide us. You paint a picture so bleak, spinning a story that Britain is broken beyond repair. But we see you. Every policy delivered, every breakfast on a child’s plate, every NHS procedure on time, every town rejuvenated Brings us closer to defeating not just you, but toxic right-wing populism itself. And to restoring hope for the millions who are willing Britain on. ❤️🇬🇧

@WalshyTravels I've been vocal about the role of the signaller. I'm not playing down the role of the driver, but the signaller is the one who would've made all the necessary decisions in conjunction with the BTP. Signals, going onto the slow from the fast line, etc.

No one has mentioned the role of the Network Rail Signaller and I feel it’s important to acknowledge them. Train Drivers have to work with & coordinate any actions or intended actions with the signaller; especially in an emergency. No safe train movement can happen with them.
