The whole data center debate is stupid on a few fronts but I'll make my views clear here real quick.
- I want more thought put into how these can benefit locals
- No foreign workers being shipped into small communities
- and consideration if it will drop the water table causing people to have to dig deeper wells
- consideration if it will cause power bills to rise in the local community
Those are my concerns. They are valid concerns. People should be excited they are getting a data center. You need to sell this beyond calling people stupid boomers because soon enough most states will ban new constructions.
