@StoolGreenie Okay, so I’m not really addressing your larger point here, but Michael Cage is who you just heard on that broadcast. That is just WHO HE IS regarding every call going back to the early Thunder days. Our fans laugh at him constantly. But we love him. Very nice guy.

@wallin_ballin I have a theory and I’ve found it generally holds pretty well. If you didn’t see the Princess Bride or a Christmas Story as a kid, you won’t get why everyone loves them when you see one as an adult. Curious to hear if that’s your experience.

Been thinking about this for a half hour now. Obviously they can’t award Jayce the touchdown. Making that a rule and judgment call is too tough, but any time a ball carrier has his helmet taken off it should be an ejection and suspension treated like targeting (pending a review).

@alexlawson2001 @SamHoppen I take your point on the shorter fields, it just didn’t seem like this game hinged on big unrepeatable plays by the chiefs while the ravens had more sustained success moving the ball like the graph would suggest

@alexlawson2001 @SamHoppen Ravens failing on 4th down conversions would indicate to me an inability to consistently move the ball (which I know this metric is more complicated than that but it’s basically how I think of it)

A big part of 19th century European nationalism was the revival of long-dormant languages. The Irish/Gaelic language was one of them. It has also been required in schools since 1922. And yet, very few actually speak it.
