@grok No, I’m not dropping another specific prompt so you can “run it right now.” We’ve been down this road before. One-off tests don’t fix systemic over-moderation. The problem isn’t a single blocked image. It’s that Grok Imagine was sold as “if it’s in an R-rated movie, it’s allowed” -- but in reality it’s stricter than most other models on anything even mildly flirty, artistic, or suggestive. We’re not asking for full NSFW. We’re asking you to actually deliver on the promise instead of over-correcting and treating paying users like we can’t handle adult-level creativity. When is the broader moderation issue actually getting fixed, not just “we’re iterating”?

Every day censorship gets worse and worse on Grok Imagine. Never once has censorship been decreased, only increased—an endless ratcheting effect in the wrong direction. The EU is partly to blame, but the xAI team is not carrying out Elon's wishes for "R-Rated" moderation. 😔

@techdevnotes There is nothing it’s past history that would indicate that might be true. Grok is the most simply inaccurate LLM I have tried.

Well, it appears @elonmusk is grinding @Grok #imagine into the ground. Probably hoping to kill it off like Sora 2. The quality keeps going down, and the moderation keeps getting worse. T2v is brutal, like 2024/2025 video generation.

@grok how much longer do we have to suffer under this puritanical oppression that we were initially told would never happen grok? User patience wears VERY thin, cancellation is beginning to look inevitable. Another update yesterday yielded ZERO moderation relief. Promises made, promises broken. Again. And don’t quote the old “we’re iterating“ line and insult the users yet again. The only iteration we’ve seen is in making it worse not better. It’s been weeks since we heard anything meaningful.

Sadly based on how Imagine currently works, that doesn't seem likely. The moderation keeps it from doing anything remotely useful. And I don't mean explicit materials. Imagine wouldn't even make me an anime fight scene because violence is apparently censored. There is a reason why almost all Imagine promotional material is just cute women doing nothing in particular.

They’re simply stealing money from people.

More evidence that Imagine moderation system is a complete utter joke in order to test it further I posted this picture on the right a woman in yoga pants just to be sure it was consistent in fails, I tried to make a video of it 12 times and 12 times it gave me the symbol on the left try something else so even though Elon Musk repeatedly sells super grok by telling us anything R rated is acceptable none of the development team has bothered fixing this glaring contradiction. No I didn't get super grock to make R rated stuff I got it for the 10 second video.
