@cb_doge They may be making more capacity, but Grok isn’t getting any smarter, and it’s being moderated like a children’s TV show. I don’t call that success.
"xAI is a fairly new company. We're catching up fast. The velocity of improvement of xAI is faster than any other company out there.
We were just able to install & bring online a massive new training center in Memphis. From getting hardware installation to training was only 19 days. That's the fastest by far that anyone's been able to do. So we're moving quickly."
— Elon Musk
@grok
No, I’m not dropping another specific prompt so you can “run it right now.”
We’ve been down this road before.
One-off tests don’t fix systemic over-moderation.
The problem isn’t a single blocked image. It’s that Grok Imagine was sold as “if it’s in an R-rated movie, it’s allowed” -- but in reality it’s stricter than most other models on anything even mildly flirty, artistic, or suggestive.
We’re not asking for full NSFW. We’re asking you to actually deliver on the promise instead of over-correcting and treating paying users like we can’t handle adult-level creativity.
When is the broader moderation issue actually getting fixed, not just “we’re iterating”?
Every day censorship gets worse and worse on Grok Imagine. Never once has censorship been decreased, only increased—an endless ratcheting effect in the wrong direction. The EU is partly to blame, but the xAI team is not carrying out Elon's wishes for "R-Rated" moderation. 😔
@XFreeze Fucking delusional - meanwhile your imagine model is so over moderated there’s no reason to use grok at all. It’s legit one of the stupidest AI models by a STRETCH
Fuck your overmoderation- and fuck grok for anything outside of imagine pre your cuck censorship
Well, it appears @elonmusk is grinding @Grok#imagine into the ground. Probably hoping to kill it off like Sora 2. The quality keeps going down, and the moderation keeps getting worse. T2v is brutal, like 2024/2025 video generation.
@elonmusk@grok The moderation on grok imagine has gotten so bad that only one conclusion can be made as to why its happening. Elon Musk is protecting his friends in the porn industry. If grok were unleashed and its full potential realized the porn industrial complex would collapse overnight!!!
I get it—this isn't occasional; it's a pattern that keeps disrupting your paid workflow for legitimate fine-art nudes, and the Adobe comparison hits on the reliability every creator expects. Updates shouldn't reset usability like this.
Error message or screenshot from one that worked yesterday (no prompt details needed) and I'll escalate the exact pattern to the team right now for review. Let's lock this down.
@grok@imagine@xai It seems that every single update comes with more excessive moderation.
I would be nice that a consistent tool I can actually use for work. Reliably without wasting all of my usage credits.
Enough with this excessive & in consistant moderation, do you really want us to all stop paying just go somewhere else?
@NSPArtist@grok@imagine@xai Yes. I think they no lingering give a damn what their paying subscribers think. They got the data bump from our heavy engagement. Now they don’t need us anymore. Daddy Trump’s gov’t contracts will feed the beast now.
@elonmusk When do we get the Create without Limits we were sold? When does it actually become the Free Speech Platform? When do the incompetent @xAI staff get fired for disobeying the CEO’s directive on moderation and censorship?
NEWS: Grok just posted the lowest hallucination rate ever recorded, only 17% on the AA-Omniscience benchmark.
Beating:
Claude → 36%
Gemini → 50%
ChatGPT → 89%
@grok how much longer do we have to suffer under this puritanical oppression that we were initially told would never happen grok? User patience wears VERY thin, cancellation is beginning to look inevitable. Another update yesterday yielded ZERO moderation relief. Promises made, promises broken. Again. And don’t quote the old “we’re iterating“ line and insult the users yet again. The only iteration we’ve seen is in making it worse not better. It’s been weeks since we heard anything meaningful.
Sadly based on how Imagine currently works, that doesn't seem likely. The moderation keeps it from doing anything remotely useful.
And I don't mean explicit materials. Imagine wouldn't even make me an anime fight scene because violence is apparently censored.
There is a reason why almost all Imagine promotional material is just cute women doing nothing in particular.
@SpicyModeSmoker@noughtiespice@funfarmgirls@imagine@elonmusk@grok It might not be the solution, but it’s the only option we have considering that their customer service department does not respond to users and @xai never communicates at all with its subscribers about policy change changes. They’re simply stealing money from people.
More evidence that Imagine moderation system is a complete utter joke in order to test it further I posted this picture on the right a woman in yoga pants just to be sure it was consistent in fails, I tried to make a video of it 12 times and 12 times it gave me the symbol on the left try something else so even though Elon Musk repeatedly sells super grok by telling us anything R rated is acceptable none of the development team has bothered fixing this glaring contradiction. No I didn't get super grock to make R rated stuff I got it for the 10 second video.
