I was in a casual argument recently because I’m protective with my phone and this girl I know just assumes it’s because I’ve got porn in there. I don’t, but I do have tons of stuff like this, and frankly it’s harder to explain than good old fashion stag pictures.

1. All The Pretty Horses is McCarthy’s greatest work. The fact that it’s also much more accessible than his earlier novels doesn’t defeat that fact. John Grady Cole’s odyssey through love and Mexico is utterly timeless, and this should be required reading for everyone.
