There is a lot of variety.

I would emphasize looking for studies that will change clinical practice. There is a lot of time and work that goes into starting, joining and enrolling into a clinical trial. It is important that the question is worth all that effort.

Team approach with good mentor, statistician, collaborators make for better multicenter trials.
