Did you check out our latest podcast? Is an A3 necessary for all improvements? Is Plan, Do, Check, Act, better or worse than Plan, Do, Study, Adjust? Join Mohamed Saleh, Ph.D. and me for a 20 minute (free) discussion on these problem solving topics. lnkd.in/ev4mqJ_4

@tom_peters @apexlearn_org Once the majority of companies shift their promotional criteria from control, fear, and fire fighting (manage) to respect, mentoring, and empowerment (Coaching), business schools will change their curriculum out of necessity.

Wouldn’t it be great if business schools and law schools and med schools taught “kindness” and “listening”as the two core values which will lead to a successful career and a successful life; and along the way, make the world just a little bit better.

@tom_peters We discuss this in our podcast "Behind the Curtain; Adventures in Continuous Improvement." Developing a system that allows every worker to achieve pride in what they do and then leaders recognizing the accomplishments creates, what I call in my book, Enthusiastic Productivity

@scottdwitt @tom_peters @Crislycai I just spoke to a group of 200+ business leaders and shared this thought... before AI, get your Culture (respect, empowerment, engagement, pride), Processes (Improvement, Problem Solving), and Leadership (Mentors, Coaches) right. The first to do that and layer AI on top, will win

@tom_peters @Crislycai In our latest "Behind the Curtain: Adventures in Continuous Improvement," podcast episode, I spoke about how the organizations that will win the use of AI, will be those where every employee is engaged, respected, able to solve problems, empowered and part of a winning team.

@Crislycai A quarter of a century ago, the Chinese shifted their education system from memorizing to thinking. We have not made such a shift. In the age of AI, making such a shift is a matter of survival. Or not. Am I exaggerating? Maybe. On the other hand, maybe not.

@tom_peters I will be speaking to a group of 250 next month and 20 Pastors this month with a similar message. I try and introduce myself to each person before and after spending the day with them.

I was a effective public speaker. Biggest “secret”: literally desperate to get my message across. Greatest “weapon“: eye contact. Speaking to 500 people, but my eyes on only one at a time, as I tried with all my heart a & soul to convince them of the importance of my message.

@tom_peters Welcome back Tom. In our podcast "Behind the Curtain" (industryweek.com/podcasts/behin…) we discuss many times the importance of treating everyone with compassion, respect, and engagement and the main drivers that keep leaders from doing this on a regular basis.
