@EverydayResell @PicturesFoIder He knew she’d get disqualified if she had her phone on her while playing. So he kinda helped her out.

@PicturesFoIder Magnus really fumbled the vibe there. Posing for the selfie then watching her phone get snatched? That's next level awkward, like inviting someone to dance & then calling security on them. Rough look for him imo.

@nonsensei_kun @Kalasinga_ Well, @LibertyLifeKe does not offer motor insurance. You may be throwing the wrong insurance company in the mud.

ROBBERY PLOT TARGETING SENIOR MILITARY OFFICER THWARTED; SIX SUSPECTS ARRESTED
Detectives have foiled a planned robbery targeting a senior military officer in Kitengela, arresting six suspects in an intelligence-led operation involving a criminal syndicate of serving Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) service members and civilian accomplices.
On Monday, March 23, 2026, detectives received credible intelligence about an imminent robbery and placed the suspects under close surveillance, monitoring their movements and preparations ahead of the planned attack.
On the D day, the suspects arrived in a black Toyota Harrier (registration number KCR 809K), while a Toyota Ractis (registration number KCM 804L) remained nearby with a driver on standby. A female suspect alighted from the Harrier and approached the main gate under the pretext of seeking access. Detectives, who had already secured the area, moved in and arrested her, prompting the swift interception of both vehicles by backup teams.
The six suspects arrested are: Charles Kiio Matata, a KDF sergeant stationed at Kahawa Garrison; David Ng’aa Mwangangi, a civilian mechanic attached to the KDF at Kahawa Barracks; Samuel Agango Odoyo, a KDF service member currently on interdiction; Alex Mumo Kisilu of Umoja; Richard Mwania Muasya of Tala; and Stella Nzuki Mweni of Umoja Inner Core. They remain in custody undergoing processing and interrogation.
A search at the scene recovered items believed to have been intended for use in the robbery, including KDF jungle uniforms, military boots, a crowbar, a claw hammer, a knife, pliers and multiple mobile phones.
The scene has been processed, and investigations are ongoing to establish the full scope of the syndicate’s activities and possible links to other criminal incidents.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has reaffirmed its commitment to dismantling organised criminal networks and ensuring all individuals involved in criminal activities, regardless of status, are brought to justice.

World Bank Group debars PwC Associates, PwC Kenya, & PwC Rwanda in connection with collusive & fraudulent practices as part of the Eastern Electricity Highway Project under the First Phase of the Eastern Africa Power Integration Program in Ethiopia.
Effectively, PwC Associates, PwC Kenya, PwC Rwanda, & any affiliates they control will be ineligible to participate in Bank Group-financed projects & operations.
The World Bank says the settlement agreement provides for a reduced period of debarment in light of the companies’ admission of misconduct, cooperation, strengthening of aspects of their existing integrity compliance program, & voluntary remedial actions.
The remedial actions include an internal investigation, internal action against responsible parties, ceasing business with all involved sub-consultants & voluntary restraint from bidding for Bank Group-financed contracts during the settlement agreement negotiations.

@TheStarKenya @AderaJacob Section 8 of the Insurance (Motor Vehicles Third Party Risks) Act stipulates that third party claims have to be paid despite a breach of policy conditions by the policy holder

English

The High Court in Narok has ruled that Britam General Insurance Company is not liable for third-party claims from an accident involving a vehicle that flouted policy limitations. Justice Charles Kariuki ruled that the insured, Absalom Onoka Otieno, breached the limitation of use clause in his comprehensive private motor insurance policy when he hired out the vehicle to transport church members from Narok to Njabini in Nyandarua county on July 9, 2023.

@Safaricom_Care @Emma999Too Do you even have the network ability to stream 1Gb of data/min to a mobile device?
English

@Safaricom_Care is there a reason or any possibility one can use up 10 GB in in 10 minutes? I called customer care and I was informed my data was used up. It’s never happened in all the years I have used my lines.
What’s really going on lately with your billing?
Your data experience has become extremely expensive and extremely unsatisfactory.

@AderaJacob @alasirimotors @AKI_Kenya Best to discuss when you have facts. Just flip through your motor insurance policy document to see what is/ what is not covered.
English

@alasirimotors This is applicable to cases where one has a comprehensive insurance cover with a clear mention of flood being a cause of loss otherwise you can't claim for a damage arising from a natural disaster. @AKI_Kenya confirm or deny.
English

If your Car engine injested water in the Nairobi flooding kindly not that such a car is declared a write off. You should seek full compensation from the insurance company as per the insured market value before the flood incident.
The insurer will normally declare the car a total loss (write off) if:
•Water entered the engine, gearbox, and electronics
•The interior and wiring harness are badly soaked
•The repair cost is close to or more than the car’s market value
