It doesn’t matter if Israel intercepts 25, 50, 75 or 100% of the threat. You can’t accept as new normal the Islamic Republic of Iran firing ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones at Israel. Period. This is a regime that wants nuclear weapons. Major consequences required.

The silly side of blowing up the filibuster is there is no "voting rights" crisis. Turnout keeps rising, virtually everyone who wants can vote. Most alleged state "restrictions" reflect: 1) Paring back temporary 2020 pandemic reforms, 2) Activists misrepresenting state reforms...

Of course Democrats will focus their ire on Manchin, but the basic problem is that Biden wanted to pass a FDR/LBJ-type agenda without a FDR/LBJ-type mandate, and without the same congressional majorities or political skills.
He’s been undone by his own hubris and poor judgment.
