Sure, they “could” be used to defend their homeland, but historically that’s been an anomaly more than anything. I’d hope you wouldn’t give an evil, irrationally violent person a gun, knowing they’d kill innocents.

@fenn_timot98822 @RascalRhett1 @blacknredtext Basket weaving is much easier than a given engineering discipline (civil/mechanical/aerospace/etc) where you HAVE to rely on written material to learn it and pass the knowledge on. Said engineering disciplines are precisely why we have made so much progress.
