The post NIL college landscape is out of control. Flat out ruining college sports and now a very proud men’s and women’s program is being cut altogether because of all this BS. This is a travesty. Never thought I’d see the day where an SEC school eliminated tennis.

@JohnIsner Yes, thats correct and only mens basketball. People seemed to want things but they want other people to pay for it. The university of Arkansas takes taxpayer dollars. Why should working class people pay for completely meaningless sports? Either fund it privately or terminate.

@JohnIsner John-these programs do not make money while demanding all the perks of a big program. Just completely unnecessary. University sports are pretty ridiculous when it comes down to it and its only from historic tradition that it even remains today.

@JohnIsner That level of expense to revenue is absurd though. No reason for non-revenue sports to have air travel, for instance. Arkansas for instance should not be flying to Gainesville for a match.

@JohnIsner Not gonna get any better until sanity comes. Conferences are too spread out causing massive problems with travel expenses for all non-revenue sports. Let FB, do their thing, but all others need to be regional, and a hard cap on NIL per school. Save Olympic Sports!
