The BBC highlights Sweden's 'soft girl trend', whereby an influencer celebrates her lifestyle, staying at home, supported by her partner. But this is terrible reporting. Social media IS NOT reality. The BBC omits that FLFP is high & rising While many people live alone.




I love the QRTs acting like sitting in your comfy home waiting for your burrito taxi to arrive is magnitudes more dangerous than driving to strange houses at night by yourself delivering burritos. Like get fuckin real people. It’s a luxury to have food delivered to your house.

@nazzobetweeting I agree with YOU (in that the message shouldn't be violent crime), but I don't agree with HER (that the message should be about how insurance companies are bad), because she's kinda supporting the murder of CEOs which is NOT GREAT IMO (as an anti-murder person lol)


@undertheeyebags Delivery services are a luxury and a convenience for which one pays a premium. The user is offsetting labor (acquiring, driving, delivering) to someone else. And that gig worker’s payday is very much dependent on the generosity of the tip.
