Presenting a unique psychological perspective on the conflicts that have shaped and shattered our world, the exhibition features over 150 objects from IWM’s collections and asks visitors to consider - Why do we go to war? How do we cope? And how do we make sense of of war?

@hordeofduck I'm trying to decide what to do with nearly 450 copies of the football magazine 'When Saturday Comes', dating back to 1989. I'm sure someone must have a use for them, but it just seems easier to leave them where they are...

What do I do with thousands of old model railway magazines? They are crammed into every available cupboard and chest. It would take days to even catalogue them. I don’t want to dump them but seems they have little value. Dear old dad. #railways #trains

Do you know of anyone who suddenly, late in life, experienced for the first time an allergic reaction to roasted peanuts: really painful tongue, that's lasted 48 hours?

Have to say, those Pop bills of the 1960s take some beating. How’s this for a line up?! An ex of mine luckily saw this tour in Coventry. The best bill that I probably ever saw was the 1979 2 Tone tour featuring The Specials, Madness & The Selecter. But what about you?

@curatorian @Normandy661944 It’s a great example of how the ubiquitous social habit of tea drinking was used as a psychological foil to normalise experiences

Do you remember when you could go into a chemist and buy over the counter 'K-morf' (as we called it)? It was a mix of china clay and morphine so if you had diarrhoea, it both clogged you up and killed the pain. Did people use it for...er...other purposes?
