@Glenn_Diesen The 'democratic' West is led by donkeys presently - US, Europe, Australia, you name it. This is a broad hint that the problem is not individuals but the design of the system.

The verdict of a prominent conservative website and magazine: "A 79-year-old man who has long dealt in chaos is now being consumed by that chaos. His episodes are becoming more frequent, his good days further apart. What he has lost is not a sense of decency or decorum—he never had those—but any remaining sense of self-control. "Everyone around him can see it. Yet, whether from ambition, cowardice, or weary acceptance, they keep looking for ways to rationalize his behavior. The tragedy is no longer Trump’s. It is now America’s."
Washington Examiner@dcexaminer

OPINION: Imagine it was someone other than President Donald Trump. Suppose a different leader were posting deranged rants in the small hours, insulting the spiritual leader of 1.3 billion Catholics, threatening entire civilizations with annihilation, and comparing himself to God. What would be the reaction? MORE: trib.al/8NOOXa6

@shaunrein When visiting recently, I was stunned by the contrast between China's focus on internal development v. the US-led Decline of the West - whose focus seems to be on eternal war.

@ChrisCuomo The midterms are toast for the Republicans (truism). The big question is why did Trump so cavalierly throw them away? The most compelling speculation is that some entity has blackmail material on him, or has the power to kill him, or both.

@washingtonpost I know two people in their 30s who dropped dead the day of the Pfizer shot, & another two who were blinded in one eye. So personally I support RFK's take on vaccines. Pity he has to be in the Trump admin - but there is no other president at the moment.

This evening, I spoke with President @prabowo of Indonesia. We discussed the conflict in the Middle East and the impact it’s having in our region. Australia and Indonesia are working together to support the flow of essential goods, and to make our energy supply chains more resilient for the future. I thanked President Prabowo for helping secure more fertiliser for Australia. Strong relationships in our region matter more than ever, and our two nations are the closest of friends.

@realgerhardtvdm The US also flew in its own gold - 32 tons of it - which was then carried off by guys allegedly from Iraqi ministries, waving bits of paper. (All of whom probably now live in the Bahamas.)

@mcsquared34 It's the difference between an obsession with personalities & politics v. an understanding that we don't get out of this alive unless we re-create all our institutions from scratch.

@RWMaloneMD There's no mystery. He sees how poorly Trump has adhered to the America First agenda - e.g. 'no more wars' - & feels culpable for helping to sell the fraud to the public.

The human nadirs of the last two centuries were caused by regimes that were British colonial, German fascist, Soviet communist, Chinese Maoist, & American ‘democratic’. That suggests that if we ever return to rational governance, it won’t happen via ideology. Death in these two centuries arrived via many political personae—but the vessel they all sailed in was unaccountable power. We’re a reasonably egalitarian Stone Age species, 300,000 years old. A river of human misery has flowed down from the steep hierarchies of the last 5,000 years. Fresh democratic hardware—architecture that causes power to flow up instead of down—would be much better suited to our temperaments Democracy’s first ‘draft’ was Greek. Its second draft—whose death throes we’re now witnessing—was Euro-American. It’s time for a draft of the democratic ideal that comprehends the 21st Century. Constitutional redesign is more pressing than halting wars or saving oceans, as ignoring it ensures that victories on these fronts will continue to be hard-won, costly & occasional. #PoliticalReform #SystemsThinking

@isaacstonefish China is liked & respected principally because it has not been captured by a foreign lobby & does not, thereby, murder hundreds of thousands of innocent people. All else is punctuation.

You may not like to hear this, but there is a correlation between improving views of China globally and Beijing’s expulsion and harassment of foreign journalists. The Chinese Communist Party has successfully shaped the portrayal of China globally, by severely restricting journalists ability to analyze and report on the country. The result? Higher favoribility ratings of Xi Jinping and China than Trump and the United States, and growing favoribility rates of China in the United States. This is not to downplay the clear, Trumpian reasons the U.S. has lost global luster — rather, it’s to express consternation and concern of entities around the world for believing China to be a responsible global actor. fccchina.org/2026/04/20/fcc…

This lost demonic soul, Laura Loomer needs Jesus. But the sad reality is that President Trump takes her hate filled demonic advice on late night phone calls. And look at his actions, he is raging in war that she and others demand. Hate is murder. And a murderer has no eternal life residing in them. The apostle John tells us in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” God does not hate Candace Owens, he loves her dearly. And Jesus died so that even Laura Loomer, if she were to repent and believe and walk in obedient faith in Christ, cans be forgiven and have eternal life.

NEW: Trump is considering more changes to his Cabinet, according to four officials. He has expressed frustration and disappointment with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer. "He's very angry and he's going to be moving people," an administration official told @politico. No final decisions have been made on Chavez-DeRemer and Lutnick, and Trump has contemplated firing people and then backed off before. My latest reporting: politico.com/news/2026/04/0…
