I don’t think China cares about Iran a whole lot. It cares about Taiwan. My biggest worry about this summit is that Trump will make concessions to China on Taiwan as part of his zeal for “dealmaking.”

This “readers context” is ignorant and utterly irrelevant to my point. Trump is selling weapons to Ukraine that Biden withheld, paid for by NATO. He also imposed crippling oil and gas sanctions which Biden refused to do. He has seized Russian shadow fleet tankers which Biden refused to do. He is allowing Ukraine to use US weapons to strike inside Russia which Biden refused to do. He’s even giving them targeting intelligence to hit Russian military and energy targets, which Biden refused to do. If Biden had done everything Trump is doing today in 2022 (when Russia was in retreat) the war would be over by now. These are facts. The fact that taxpayers are not footing the bill is a good thing.
