@Bharathm7581 Wouldn't you pick a £3.8m GK and at least 2 other like £3.7m non starters as subs seeing as it's the last game week as you only need one last starting 11 and a decent sub in case of rotation? Genuine Question, I only play this very casually.

@90sfootball Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Adriano, Kaka, Lucio, Juan, Dida, Ze Roberto, Roberto Carlos, Emerson, Cafu. You could argue at least half of those names make the top 50 players of all time and to have them all in one team... Wow we didn't realise how good we had it!
@golaxis@kevtastic84@90sfootball LMA 2001 on the PS1 was my favourite, took up all 15 blocks of the memory card, took about 5-10 minutes to save the game whilst you sat there singing along to Eat my Goal 😂 I think the most expensive players were Figo and Zidane at around £35m!
Did some digging, fair. Premier Manager hit PS3 in 2010 (PSN download only), CM went handheld then mobile, FM Handheld lived on PSP for years. But the home-console, full-budget, native version of the genre effectively ended with LMA 2007. FM didn't return to Xbox between FM08 and FM21 — 13 years. And even FM Console today is "adapted from PC" by Sega's own words.
@MirnaDzamonja@HMRCgovuk Lol can't believe you posted all your personal info onto twitter whilst complaining about receiving false letters. Something tells me this isn't the first time you've done that 😂 University professor too apparently! Some people can't be helped! 🙄
A false request for a UK tax return arrived today in the post. I am not a UK tax payer since 2020, yet some people in the @HMRCgovuk have started a campaign against me, sending me false bills and threatening. I have sent the case to the Adjudicator’s Office and I will do all in my legal power to stop this abuse and get back the money that was stolen from me during this campaign
👨💼 Newcastle United are looking to make significant changes behind the scenes after a disappointing 2025/26 Premier League campaign.
To prepare for an important summer window, Newcastle have made another off-field appointment today, reported by Newcastle World, to bring Oxford United's head of recruitment, Scott Mitchell, to St James' Park. Mitchell, previously worked in Ipswich Town's academy and led recruitment at Wycombe Wanderers, took over his current role at Oxford in November 2024. During his tenure, he helped the Kassam Stadium outfit recruit value-for-money talent from continental markets, including players like Brian De Keersmaecker, Michal Helik, Stanley Mills, and Will Lankshear. He now heads do Tyneside!
Welcome to Newcastle United and good luck! 🏁

@barstoolsports Cameraman didn't do anything, it's the one filming the TV at home that zoomed in. Everyone in this thread really is thick as fuck, my god. 😂
@LetsTalk_FPL As a Newcastle fan let me tell you, Newcastle have only beaten Brighton twice in the last 18 meetings - EIGHTEEN! Also on our worst run of form in forever. Make of that what you will!😂
This team is absolutely fine to roll but unless he gets injured, I know Gabriel is a transfer in for GW37, so very tempted to just get it done now.
2 palace defenders next week though 🤔
Gary Neville on Eddie Howe and Newcastle United:
"It is a really disappointing season. The transfer business at the end of the window in the summer was a real problem for them because they ended up with Woltemade and Wissa and that has just not paid off yet at all. That is the difference right now.
I think full faith in Eddie Howe. Full trust in Eddie Howe. That is the way to go. They have got a really, really good manager. So where at some clubs it is easy to say 'let's shift the manager and let's keep the players because they have got five-year contracts, six-year contracts', it is absolutely the other way round at Newcastle, I would think.
I would think they would be thinking if we lost him, we have lost an eight-and-a-half out of 10 manager. Someone who is a real solid performer. Someone who is reliable, consistent, someone who has got a great attitude.
I think basically now, I hope they are sitting down with Eddie Howe and I hope they are going through 'these are the players I want you to shift for me, these are the players I am going to buy into for next season, I want to get these four or five [players] in and I want our business to be done early whilst everyone is thinking about the World Cup, everybody is planning, I want these players in.'
I am hoping they are in a really sure period behind the scenes where they are really getting themselves sorted for next season because for Newcastle now to be where they are, they are a really good side and I like watching them, there is a lot there to like about them (v Arsenal)
They didn't have a cutting edge but Wissa should have scored. If that is Isak (🇸🇪🐀) he does score. They are going to need to back their manager properly. Buy into him, back him. They do obviously back him and have done over a long time but almost go again with him.
Lean into making the manager the guy you believe in and say to the players: 'Right, who wants to be on this bus?' That is what I would do if I was Newcastle (management) because I think they have one of the very best there. I think he will pick them up and have them challenging for the Champions League again next season"
I think Gary speaks a lot of truth here and this is surely what will happen. The pressure will be on to right the wrongs of this season straight away though to avoid the Spurs 2.0 tag!!!
Thoughts on Neville's take on Newcastle United?

Twitter what’s happening? I thought I should tweet since the NEW Fire In The Booth comes out tomorrow…
Wtf do people actually talk about on twitter anyway?? Maybe i’ll just start journaling on here. 🤷🏾♂️🗣️
@theAliceRoberts Not sure what's worse, the monarchy or the bootlickers that line the streets to catch a glimpse of them. Every other week it's breaking news on the BBC when William and Kate take a family photo. I don't hate them but seriously who gives a shit!
I’m not sure why we still have a monarch. It seems like a medieval anachronism to me; a demonstration of inherited status and the the pinnacle of an entrenched aristocracy. And I’m really not sure why our monarch has gone to the US to stand next to another man with too much power, land and money.
These people are morons led by their emotions. Once emotion is involved they lose their capacity for rational thought processes like deducing the fact that these animals would be poached at much higher percentage (if not to extinction) if it wasn’t for men like the one “allegedly” trampled to death paying to build preservations for these animals.
BREAKING: Millionaire big game hunter Ernie Dosio was trampled to death by five elephants while hunting a rare antelope in central Africa. A classic case of fucking around and finding out! Go elephants! 🐘
RFK Jr: "A Democratic senator claimed it's mathematically impossible to have a drug drop by 600%. I said, 'Well, if the drug was $100 and it raises to $600, that would be a 600% rise. If it drops from $600 to $100, that's a 600% savings.'"
