@soph_cash @OJWiseman I agree with @jake_p76 aspirating makes room for contrast and you can send it for culture. If the stent isn’t in the right place you haven’t helped the patient. #always retrograde

Question for endo minded, debated at work last week - obstructed septic patient, needs stent, do you do retrograde or not? @OJWiseman ?

Good article about risks of medical radiation exposure. We must continue to balance the risks and benefits of radiation and reduce radiation exposure when possible. But exact risks are unclear. washingtonpost.com/amphtml/nation…
