You program for Apple ecosystem by using a language called "Objective C". Which, unlike C++, is a PROPER (self-proclaimed) implementation of OOP in C. In there, you send messages, just like Alan Kay intended. Files have .m extensions. Why .m? Nobody knows. Very fascinating world! They also have custom bastardized version of Rust with bazillion keywords and even slower compile times, but nobody cares about, or likes that one.

@dhh It could be a change to the underlying model, but they don't tell you which models it's using for the code reviews (as fast as I can tell).

Did GitHub's Copilot get a huge upgrade in the last few weeks? It now consistently finds real issues, and is genuinely helpful. Hit ratio went from 1/10 to 7/10. Impressive! (Just wish it would not re-raise concerns that have been given a 👎 once already).

In Part 2 of Hana Kim's (glorious) interview of state Senate Majority Leader and income tax architect Jamie Pedersen... ✅Pedersen is in denial that his tax is causing upset saying "I don't have any evidence that millionaires or business leaders are leaving as result of this income tax". ✅After being asked directly, Pedersen finally goes on the record that his goal is an income tax for all Washingtonians. ✅Pedersen attempts to lie about a future legislature's ability to lower the income level threshold down from $1 Million, and then gets defensive when Hana Kim calls him on it. This is certainly an interview for the history books. @hanamkim | @fox13seattle 'Part 2: Architect of millionaire tax defends new law'

@WAPolicyCenter @fox13seattle Despicable to equate overturning baby murder (challenges to Row v Wade) with greedy politicians trying to steal our property. Washington state has a major advantage by not having an income tax, and they can't help themselves but to throw that away.

No matter the poll, Bukele's approval rating is nearly always over 90%. In the last three polls, it's 93%, 93%, and 94%. I've never seen anything like this. We need to study this regime. The international community has massively underestimated the importance of public order.
