Such a special and proud day yesterday at Windsor Castle for my OBE investiture….I must say a huge ‘thank you’ to all those great people I’ve worked with over the past 37 years from that first day in the #cafc portakabin at Selhurst Park in 1988 right up to my colleagues now at @CAFCofficial, as it’s because of all of them that I was standing in front of HRH Prince William @KensingtonRoyal in Windsor yesterday.

Happy 92nd Birthday to one of my absolute heroes growing up watching @CAFCofficial - the wonderful #EddieFirmani. I have been fortunate to meet Eddie quite a few times but this photo is a favourite of mine as it was presented to me by the late Bernard Wickham and is typical of Bernard’s humour. Bernard was a great friend of Eddie and a passionate #cafc fan who was hugely popular with everyone at the club and with the former players.
