@Acemcl Absolutely, but Clement came with a counter attacking mindset and that was his problem. Muscat’s approach is about being in the front foot, so he’s been successful playing a style that suits us better. Nobody guarantees success, that’s why every appointment comes with some risk.

@JohnSimpsonBIM Id be fine with that however, Clement won things too and 🤷. There are no sure things but you can hedge your bets

@jonnyrmcfarlane Cerny had a €6m transfer fee and now on a €60k/week salary. Same as when Ferguson said it recently, saying these transfers are no brainers is easy after the fact when they were never going to happen.

@ibroxrocks There was a point in the first half where Vanaken was sitting in a 10 yard gap between the defence and midfield. Raskin or Rothwell should’ve dropped deeper to cover, but Djiga ended up pushing out leaving a huge gap behind him. Was obvious in the stand where the issues were

It looks like guys unsure of what they’re supposed to be doing; no leadership on field; an inability to solve problems on the pitch; confusion in off-the ball situations; and error-prone players. So is it the players or Martin? It’s both.

Watched game back. There’s been a discussion on here about whether it was Martin’s fault or individual mistakes. It was both. First - poor communication, something the team is bad for. A keeper who doesn’t like leaving his line but has to in system and is therefore unsure. 2nd - badly lined up at a setpiece. Not the first time. Players unsure what their role is.
