The reason I get fairly defensive and angry about Kiseki stuff, is Falcom is one of the few remaining devs making uniquely Japanese media outside tiny indie studios. I’ve seen a tonne of series I really enjoy either be cancelled completely over the years as the west deem them problematic or watered down “for an international audience”. It’s why I accept the series for what it is even if I occasionally might not like every aspect either , because I want it to maintain its creative integrity. With Sky Remake doing so well in the West that’s great news for Falcom and I’m happy for them, but it also brings in plenty of people who play Japanese games but hate what makes them Japanese. Which is why I get defensive. You don’t need to like every aspect of something to be a fan , that would be dumb, but it’s the desire to call out things deemed “problematic” I find so frustrating as it’s posts like these and campaigns like these which have ruined so many Japanese series.

You're damn right I will. This franchise isn't made with you assholes in mind. It's made for a Japanese audience and culture. There's nothing wrong with liking typical anime cultural norms and plotlines and the fact you cannot realize that attacking other fans won't change that is hilarious. Either stop giving money to Falcom or shut up about these elements. You can dislike whatever you want, that's fine. It's when you attack others that DO like it and call it problematic and try pushing for it to not exist that you stir up fans that DO enjoy everything about this franchise. Grow up.
