Mohamed Salah is to bring the curtain down on his illustrious career with Liverpool Football Club at the end of the 2025-26 season. The time to fully celebrate his legacy and achievements will follow later in the year when he bids farewell to Anfield ❤️

If Jemima's question is quoted correctly, then it is no allegation. It asks what the President has to say about concerns expressed. Such inquiries are the job of media practitioners in a democracy proudly declaring media freedom nogal. They are at times a nuisance - rightly so.

QUESTION OF THE DAY: President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has denied allegations that her children have an interest in the oil industry. She, however, says just like other Namibians, her children have every right to participate in the domestic economy. What are your thoughts on this statement?

Time to rip off China, Russia friendship ring The most chilling lesson of Trump’s gutting of the so-called rules-based order is; when Washington flexes its muscle, Moscow and Beijing fold, look the other way and continue to collect the spoils of war. shorturl.at/sT24Z

'JOURNALISTS ARE POOR' … Journalists are inexperienced and media houses are not investing in journalists. As a result, key political issues are not covered. This was the message of Popular Democratic Movement leader McHenry Venaani at a media conference in Windhoek on Thursday. He complained that there was insufficient media reporting about smaller political parties. He suggested that Namibia should subsidize media houses to enable them to do their work. “We should have consultations on how best we can cover political discourse in the country, for the greater benefit of the people,” Venaani said.
