Leaving aside the mind numbing stupidity of the idea, who the hell thought an actor has anything useful to contribute to a discussion about knife crime? Who knows, maybe be Mr Elba consults constables on his approach to playing Ibsen.

@thealexbear @FitzroyMotor Clearly they don't, but they do (I'm assuming) read stories based on press releases. Many of which, having just had a look at the original pieces from November, stated that a concept car would be unveiled in Miami. So the normal people clearly DIDN'T pay attention 😂

Literally, what did people want from the Jaguar concept car? Even Giles Coren is having a pop at it for some reason (next week - Nico Rosberg’s take on Le Gavroche???) No wonder the British car industry is completely dead - tall poppy syndrome running rampant in this country.

@thealexbear @FitzroyMotor The original release on 18th November stated the 'first global public installation' of the new Jaguar brand would be 'a Design Vision Concept', unveiled on 2 December. Difficult to be clearer than that!

@FitzroyMotor I don't think it was. This has never happened before. When the public think rebrand and car launch, they expect to see a product. Not an art project. Essentially it looks like the product which is supposed to reach the public by 2026 isn't ready to show at the very end of 2024.

@Rylan I flick the Vs to drivers who don't stop at the crossings. Especially when I've been there for a while and they've seen me! It's not my fault they are driving too fast to stop safely! However, I'll always say thank you to drivers who DO stop (even though they should anyway 🤣)
