@CODCritters It was so weird to me how for a short time in Bo1 and Bo3, Treyarch forgot to include regular Wehrmacht zombies and just had SS soldiers in Kino and the remastered versions of the WaW maps.

Not necessarily a lore thing, but the undead German infantry seen in Vanguard Zombies (specifically the ones pictured) actually reuse their body models and some of their headgear from COD: WWII's Nazi Zombies mode.

The armoured soldier zombies in Die Rise (set in 2035) are actually zombified SDC infantry from Black Ops 2's Campaign & Multiplayer. The SDC act as China's military during the 2020s, implying that they still exist as of 2035 in the original timeline.

@da_robotz_ It’s a very real possibility too. Like they may make all of the ultimis skins be in bundles and all of the primis skins be operator orders as a reference to OG blackout where primis had to be unlocked while Ultimis were in the black market.
