@sja900 So true, I'm not one to expect optimisation and mix maxing as a rule for good Pokémon, but man they truly just decided to give it defensive abilities/moves and make it a slow glass cannon

These pure endgames are always fun to think about. On the one hand in a vacuum, mixed Nash equilibrium says to Draco 53% of the time and Drift 47% of the time. And for Ting-Lu to hold tera 53% and tera fairy 47%. Either player doing this locks in 53% win odds for Ting-Lu. (1/x)

Oh so this means that there's gonna be three tiers of hit animations in Pokemon Champion depending on how much damage they take (Light, Medium, Strong) Different damage animations were introduced in ScVi but it seems Champions is gonna add brand new "superstrong" hit animations

@laughman231 @TheYisusOne Maushold tanks a hit from Greninja using Blizzard, much weaker than Froslass's Blizzard, and it plays the standard hit animation. I think this is the correct theory that it varies on the move's strength.
