Alaska Day 5: The Harding Icefield Trail in Kenai Fjords National Park. Got to see an amazing view of Exit Glacier after hiking over 10 miles and climbing 3,800 ft. Also got to see mountain goats at the top. #fatherdaughtertrip

Day 4: Fox Island in Kenai Fjords. Kayaked over 15 miles and explored the island’s coastline of sheer ocean cliffs and deep forest cloaked coves. Just stunning! As a cherry on top, we were lucky to have an awesome guide Danny who is a fellow #Boilermaker. #fatherdaughtertrip

Day 2: Hiked 6.5 miles in the Chugach Mountains to Crystal Lake. Amazingly my cell phone had a one bar signal at the lake so I seized the moment and replied a few emails and, more importantly, ehem, called my wife at home. #fatherdaughtertrip

Day 1.9: Ummm, it’s 9:30pm here and still bright outside. Let’s go hiking!! #fatherdaughtertrip
