No matter your vision, how good it is, how much it’s needed in your market At the start you only have you. You believe in it, you know how valuable it will be and you know that people need to invest/use it - whatever it is You need to fight long enough through that phase where only you believe so that you can get to where everyone believes The greatest founders of our time Bezos, musk, etc all went through the phase where no one cared & no one wanted to invest Prove traction alone and the rest will come

this is exactly why we built founders hub too many talented founders never get access early enough glad to help connect builders to opportunities like this before the world catches on
Founder’s Hub@JoinFoundersHub

Big news for early builders. Founders Hub is working alongside @Lvlupvc to connect high-conviction founders with their new First Check Fund. If you’re building at the idea, pre-formation, or earliest pre-seed stage, this is exactly the kind of opportunity we want our community to access.

Status has raised $17M in seed and Series A funding led by @AbstractVC, @generalcatalyst and @usv to let anyone step inside their favorite stories, become famous, and live a million different lives. We quietly launched Status last year and grew to over 1 million users in 19 days - making us the fastest growing AI app since ChatGPT. But we hit a (predictable) snag - the app was incredibly expensive to run. How do you serve millions of users without degrading the product with a cheap LLM? So the team locked in: we rebuilt the whole experience, and our technical bets paid off. Our users now spend 35 minutes on average to (90 minutes each day for power users!), and millions of characters and worlds have been created. All by our users. The next frontier of entertainment is mobile-first and deeply personal. Traditional mobile games take years to build and rarely stick. TV shows are fleeting in the age of streaming. Status is different. It is not a game you finish, it is a world you can live in. Status is a new category entirely: Immersive Social Entertainment, and we believe strongly that it is the next great entertainment paradigm. We’ve 10x’d to millions in annual revenue in Q1 2026, we're just getting started. On Status, you can be anyone.

every early-stage startup needs attention. your weekend vibecoded website isn't cutting it you watch videos but don't know how to make one 'new media' seems distant, inaccessible you can't tell your story, so others won't either. here at @speedrun we've designed brand, story, and launch programs to help fix this. if you're still considering applying, I'd love to work with you later this year. DMs always open to founders or creatives looking to work with us.

Most companies entering social commerce are going to lose. Not because the market isn't there. $1.27 trillion in social commerce revenue this year alone. 20% of all global e-commerce. The opportunity is real. They're going to lose because of how they're trying to win. They post a job listing. "Social Commerce Manager — 10 years experience, bachelor's degree required." They hire someone who's managed campaigns but never made a dollar from a piece of content in their life. And then they wonder why their creator program generates noise but not revenue. Here's what I learned after generating billions of views and training thousands of creators across multiple brands: You don't need a manager. You need an Alexander. Alexander the Great conquered nearly the entire known world before the age of 30. Not because he had the biggest army. Not because he had the most resources. Because he did something most military leaders never figured out: He made people believe his vision was their own. He didn't recruit the most decorated warriors. He identified willful, open-minded people and shaped them into generals. And those generals — Ptolemy, Perdiccas, Craterus — they didn't just follow orders. They owned the mission. And when Alexander died, they each took a piece of the empire and ran it themselves. That's your blueprint for social commerce. Step 1: Find your Alexander. Not someone with a resume. Someone who has lived inside this ecosystem. Who was a creator before they were a strategist. Who made their livelihood making content before they ever thought about consulting. Who knows what a trend looks like at 6am before it hits the FYP by noon. Who can walk into a room of creators and make them feel seen, believed in, and hungry to perform. That person exists. They're probably not on LinkedIn with a polished resume. But they're out there. Step 2: Find your three to five generals. Not the biggest creators. Not the most polished. The ones with the look in their eye. The ones already doing something right in their content — just missing the structure and belief system to unlock their ceiling. You give them that. You give them a vision that feels like theirs. They will be loyal in a way that no commission structure alone can manufacture — because you gave them something money can't: a chance to become something they didn't know they could be. Step 3: Let those generals attract the army. This is where most brands over-engineer it. They think they need hundreds of creators immediately. They don't. They need five who believe deeply. Because those five will recruit the next fifty, and those fifty will recruit the next five hundred — all carrying the same energy, the same vision, the same buy-in that started at the top. That's not a creator program. That's a movement. I built this exact model from scratch. Started with five people I believed in. Those five brought me thousands. Those thousands brought billions of views and tens of millions in revenue for the brands we deployed on. The market force in social commerce is already there. Hundreds of millions of people scroll, discover, and buy every single day. You don't create that energy. You just have to know how to channel it. And that starts with finding your Alexander.
