It’s Official - California is a Land Grab Just informed by FEMA in California if your home was affected by fires and required to spend more than 50% of previous homes value you will be forced to raise the entire property structure to new “flood water” requirements. I will be forced to raise a perfectly good property 3-4 feet at a cost of $40-50M. This will make it impossible for anyone to rebuild adding years to completion. Everything the California govt suggested about coastal approvals, fast tracking etc was a lie.

NEW: A whale has passed away after colliding with a boat in Barnegat Bay, New Jersey. Insane footage shows the whale bashing the boat, nearly capsizing it, and sending a passenger overboard. According to the Marine Mammal Stranding Center, the whale was in very shallow water. "I don’t know how they even got where the whale was because it was so shallow," said director Shelia Dean, adding that the whale could have been cut by the boat. "If the whale approaches you, you shut your engines off and just lay de*d in the water until the whale swims away. You should never approach a whale." The whale has been identified as a 20-foot-long Minke whale. The person who was thrown overboard is believed to be fine, according to local reports.
