@stevegedge @Gary_Gowers It's an odd record. He clearly doesn't want to send players off and feels that by dishing out early yellows he can control a match but if players realise this then they'll take a yellow early on safe in the knowledge that he won't send them off

@Gary_Gowers Over it already. Far more concerned that I never, ever find myself in the same stadium as Anthony Backhouse again. I can only imagine the letter of complaint that #ncfc will be writing to the EFL about his shambolic decision making. Lots of yellows this season, but no red cards?

@SamJermy Six points will separate 8th from 9th. 4 points will separate 9th from 17th, 8 points will separate 17th from 18th and just 3 points between 18th and 22nd. That middle group had very strange seasons. Stoke were way ahead and Sheff Utd and Norwich cut adrift but look at them now

@humanmale1984 @mattjware @cjsouthwell1902 I think the absence of Makama is more significant in home matches. Toure is excellent in matches where there is space that he can exploit. Makama can deal with the packed defence we will find in home matches

@mattjware @humanmale1984 @cjsouthwell1902 Last 23 matches, 14 victories, 7 at home and 7 away. Some of the home victories have been underwhelming (e.g. Blackburn) but I can't remember a bad away performance since Clement's first match. I think having Makama as an option would help

Philogene had definitely been instructed to just keep tripping up McLean every time he dropped back into the right back position to start counter attacks.
Unfortunately referee let him do it.

I’ve not seen a single fan say we deserved anything at all. Yes we are fuming with the officiating and it could have been a very different game if correct decisions were given, but it was still a fair result in the circumstances. We created very little and you defended well.

Set-up all wrong, had a lot of the ball while being passive & creating nothing.
Pen was soft but would of wanted it given other way round so… Ref was terrible, should of been down to 9 but that was late on and wouldn’t have mattered, we were shocking!

@PeterDavidKirby @mattjware @LeeJ02ncfc The rate of decline is another thing. Newcastle and Villa drifted from the top 6 to relegation over a handful of years. Spurs could do this in 2 years. Leeds did the same but that was in the shadow of a financial crisis and 2 players facing prosecution for a serious crime

@pearciencfc We probably need 3, based on starting with 1 per match. Toure and Makama should be part of that and offer something different. Kvistgarden? Not sure. He is the only player who is not as effective as he was under Manning. Maybe an amicable parting of the waves is imminent

@canarykirk @otb_benjamin It was definitely true under previous ownership and in the early stages of the new ownership but they seem to have taken a grip on the club with a view to winning promotion. Nunez might have missed that but I bet he's earning more at ITFC, whether he is worth it is another matter
