I run an immigration law firm serving Seed - Series C startups. The $100,000 fee is CLEARLY bad for little tech.

🚨 F-1 students: The U.S. is revoking some visas & terminating SEVIS records, potentially over past arrests or certain behaviors. Stay alert: Check your SEVIS status, consult your school's international office, and seek legal advice if needed.

"I believe technology should be inclusive—every developer deserves a chance to build our decentralized future." @edatweets_ 's journey began at Koç University in Türkiye, where her passion for solving complex problems merged with her knack for clear communication. Early on, she discovered that the power of blockchain wasn’t just in code—it was in its potential to break down barriers and create opportunities for everyone. Prior to joining Hyperlane, Eda revolutionized how developers engage with blockchain by creating the “Web2 to Web3 Curriculum.” This hands-on program has transformed a daunting learning curve into a welcoming gateway, enabling thousands to dive into decentralized app development. “Seeing new builders take their first steps into Web3 makes all the late nights and hard work worth it,” she says. Eda’s commitment goes far beyond teaching. She’s been the guiding force at ETHGlobal hackathons, judged major blockchain panels like ETHGünü in Turkey, and even sparked conversations on global podcasts—sharing insights that demystify smart contracts and cross-chain technology. Her approachable style makes complex ideas feel like common language, and her dedication has inspired a vibrant community of developers worldwide. Now at Hyperlane, she continues to lower the barrier to entry for developers building powerful cross-chain apps. Eda remains focused on one clear mission: making blockchain accessible to all. “Every time I see someone build something new in Web3, I’m reminded that technology isn’t just about systems—it’s about people,” she reflects. Eda’s work isn’t just changing how blockchain works; it’s redefining who gets to be part of its future.

Received my O-1 visa approval a month ago and have now successfully entered the USA. Huge love for @joinellis and @sampeiomichi. I provided a few pages worth of information, and they developed an airtight case of hundreds of pages. Off to work full-time at @antiwork!

“I remember the day I got kicked out of my aunt’s house. She couldn’t see what I was doing on my laptop—she just thought I was being lazy. But I knew I was building something.” @kelechisp's journey began in Nigeria, where resources were scarce and few people believed coding could be a path out. Yet at 21, he’s already changed his own life—and countless others—through the power of AI. In the early days, he had no office, no co-founder, and no formal training beyond what he scraped together from online tutorials. What he did have was unwavering faith in his idea. With nothing but a laptop and his own determination, Kelechi built Social Wizard, an AI-powered app that helps users navigate tricky conversations—especially in dating and social settings—by generating context-aware replies in real time. “I’ve always believed that if you can build something people find valuable, you can change your destiny,” he says. “I was coding 18 hours a day, not even sure where I’d sleep next. If this app didn’t work, I had nothing else.” It did work. Today, Social Wizard now has over 500,000 downloads and is closing in on $1M in annual revenue, all from a product Kelechi designed and coded on his own. He’s now turning his success into a larger vision: an app studio that tackles everyday challenges—social interactions, health, fitness—with straightforward AI solutions. Getting his O-1 visa approved marks a profound milestone. It’s given him the freedom to remain in the U.S. to keep innovating—legitimately and without limits. “Having that stamp of approval feels surreal. It means I can stay here, keep building, and make a difference. I’m from a place where people said this life was impossible. Now I get to prove it isn’t.”

Visa and Green card holders: U.S. border scrutiny is increasing. You have rights, but refusing CBP questions or device searches may delay entry. Always check with your immigration counsel before traveling to avoid issues. Stay informed.

"I think success is about impact, not just outcomes." Supreet has helped shape how some of the biggest institutions in the world use AI. At Morgan Stanley, she built a personalization engine that increased client engagement sixfold. At Microsoft, she serves as a technical advisor and evangelist, designing AI strategies and solutions for major banks. She has also built demand forecasting models for pharmaceutical giants and developed AI products that impact everything from Wall Street to healthcare. “I love solving hard problems in highly regulated spaces. Finance and pharma are where AI can really make a difference, but you have to get it right.” She holds a U.S. patent for an AI testing framework, has advised Stanford’s AI for Good program, and served as a Google Women Techmakers Ambassador. Despite all her accomplishments, she wasn’t always sure she’d be able to stay in the U.S. “It’s hard to plan your future when you don’t know if you’ll be allowed to keep building it.” When her EB-1A green card was approved, everything shifted. “It felt like a huge weight lifted. Like I could finally breathe — and focus on the next chapter.” Now, Supreet is doubling down on what matters most to her: building responsibly, authoring a book, mentoring women in tech, and shaping the future of AI - not just through innovation, but through inclusion. "I want to build things that matter and help others do the same."
