Eurostar Tip: A little tip for anyone in the UK who likes to travel via Eurostar, and is relatively flexible- they have a semi-hidden ticket type called 'Eurostar Snap', where you can regularly travel for like £70 return. You can only specify that you want to travel morning or afternoon, then a couple of days before travel they let you know the exact time of the train they've put you on. A researcher filtered r/relationship_advice down to 1,166,592 quality comments and tracked what people actually recommend. In 2010, “End Relationship” sat around 30%. By 2025, it’s approaching 50%. “Communicate” dropped from 22% to 14%. “Compromise” collapsed from 7% to 3%. “Give Space” fell from 25% to 13%. Every category that requires patience lost ground every single year. The one category growing faster than “leave” is “Seek Therapy,” which went from 1% to 6%. The subreddit is slowly learning to say “this is above my pay grade.” Train a model on this dataset and it would absolutely tell people to break up. The training data is 50% “leave” and climbing. The model wouldn’t be broken. It would be accurately reflecting what 52 million commenters actually believe about your relationship. A 50% prior that you should leave, a 14% prior that you should talk about it, and a 6% prior that you need a professional. That’s not LLM psychosis. I have a genuine question. Why does nobody just say the cause of death anymore? Particularly when it’s a young person who dies unexpectedly? This used to just happen when it was due to su*cide (and even that was odd to me but I attributed it to the shame loved ones feel when that happens). Now it’s like the norm and it just makes people assume it’s su*cide when it’s not… If you’re announcing the death online it’s to inform people who know the person enough to need awareness/closure but not well enough to come to a funeral, so why not just answer the biggest question?

i just used AI to identify a $100+ million opportunity for Seattle. currently, to get across the water, you have to drive all the way around it, as cars don't float this is extremely inefficient. but if you look closely, bainbridge island and seattle aren't actually all that far apart. and if we were to construct some sort of boat that carried cars, it could make the trip much quicker together with claude code, i planned out this potential route for the boat does anyone have any contacts in the local government?
