#Barca24 - 2014 De brief 48 hours on and time now to reflect on our 2014 group and their exploits in Spain over the last few days. Our youngest group including four players born in 2015 competed admirably against players a year and two years older in some cases. As with our 2008s challenging players and putting them in situations to both challenge and develop are a key part of our ethos of player development. The 2014s rose to every challenge and competed well in every game despite the physical gap and showed a big improvement on last years showing which can only bode well for the future. This group are on course to emulate our senior players achievements and we fully expect them to feature as key players in our senior teams in the future. Alongside the football the team bonded with each other and also cheered on the older team in their semi final and final respectively. Their integration with the senior players is also something we encourage as the ‘young with old’ is also a key driver in our development. Lastly massive thanks to all parents who supported the event.
