@JonDunham I think you’d find developers not so entertaining… It’s a show, at the end of the day, not a panel or a forum.

For a show called the game awards it seemed to have more celebrities, musical numbers and ads than awards. A surprising lack of developers too.

This year’s The Game Awards is an embarrassing indictment of a segment of the industry desperate for validation via star power with little respect for the devs it’s supposedly honoring.

I know I don't use twitter as much as I used to anymore but OOF. After 5 hours I'd imagine a few more of my followers would have seen this by now.

The past 3 weeks have been an absolute devastating hit on my ego and career as a concept artist, I’ve really had to reevaluate how I tie my sense of worth with my work. I’m so tired and ashamed and heartbroken

@JonDunham It's luckily just a suspension. Should be reversible. If that can be automated, then it should be resolved soon.

Tons of art accounts I follow are getting suspended and lo an behold, an alternative art account of mine was suspended this morning. What is happening and why is Twitter so utterly fucked?

@IBeHarlie It's really frustrating seeing a lot of artists I like just disappearing because of it. Sigh. I hope it gets reversed.

@JonDunham It feels like something is wrong. Scale is too large to not be automated or a system error. Still really messed up though.
