Auburn’s resume is better in every way and dominating an Illinois team that has been overrated most of the year doesn’t change that. Auburn is the best team in arguably the most competitive league we’ve ever seen. They’ve won as many Q1A games as Duke has played Q1 games… To continue to be as successful as they have, with a grind that hard, is arguably one of the best regular season performances of all time.

Duke is the best team in the country btw. After this game I don’t wanna hear the ACC arguments. The Auburn glaze has gotten outta control slightly, this Duke team is better. This is probably a hot take but… yeah.

@frankingeneral @BryanDFischer I’ve had it for over 6 years. No complaints from me. I paid for the year for MLB TV to watch all the baseball games I want (Yanks while living in HTX). Even with this added cost, significantly cheaper than cable.

@frankingeneral Interesting approach that I like. Read an article on this, doesn’t say how much each student will get. But assuming it’s 20k for a 20yr old, 40 years of growth at 8%, they have about 430k in a retirement account at 60…..not too bad. Remember not all these athletes are going pro

So this is paywalled, but long and short of it: Prudential is giving $250k to men’s & women’s bball players at Rutgers, in the form of investment accounts. Very cool concept! Set these kids up for the future… …but $250k is not “transformative.” I’d say that’s 5% of the budget of some of their B1G peers, even if we focus solely on basketball.

@bcooper876 @armyemdoc THIS. These patients come in GCS 3K and people jump to a tube. They should be placed on the same monitoring we use for procedural sedation, not have plastic shoved down their throat.

I know people get super excited about flexible fiberoptic intubation in the ED, but... where's the data on it in the ED? The NEAR registry data is pretty grim that's looked at this, combined by the fact that the median intubations/year for EM attendings is 10 intubations...

Before Anthony Volpe agreed to wear #11 with the Yankees, he called Brett Gardner, who last wore 11, and asked for Gardner's blessing. According to Joe Bick, Gardner's agent, Gardner gave Volpe his full approval and wished him all the best with 11. Classy on both ends. #Volpe
