If you want to see what Paolo does with a new coach I’m not gonna call you an idiot for it. Just be aware of the potential value drop of a max player that has never been an efficient halfcourt player in his career having another inefficient year

Oh the guy with the 4.61 career ERA who just hit the injured list is “on track” for an All Star appearance through eight outings, cool. Also, he’d have the third-best ERA in the Rays’ rotation right now. If Rasmussen has a nice start his next time out, Taj would be fourth.

Jalen Suggs hate has gone out of control. He was the best play on our team in game 1. A couple of bad ones don’t define his career.

@EKoffsky If we need franz for Jalen to be effective it’s hard to justify not at least exploring an upgrade. 1. With Franz as a more effective primary defender Suggs can roam. He’s not as good on ball anymore 2. With Franz and P as initiators Suggs has to shoot better. He did not vs DET

@followbl @MattyWorldPeace I’d put AB on TBD. The year we took Suggs going down the list of players after (we took Franz) hindsight 20/20 would say you could’ve taken Murphy, Sengun or Jalen Johnson. Which means idk if you end up with Paolo. At the time we all loved the Suggs pick and it’s had its moments

Weltman's Orlando Magic Draft History is arguably worse he has a single good pick as of right now in his entire tenure monster misses - Bamba - Okeke - Cole Anthony - Jett Howard misses - Issac - Suggs - Black tbd - TDS - Jase home runs - Franz - Paolo - my belief is this was the obvious pick here, so this imo is lottery luck, Magic pick 2, he's probably taking Jabari, lol roughly 20% hit rate with 9 lottery picks is not a good . 40-50% is likely more the average and had we built the team around Paolo and Franz, Paolo was established from day 1 as the franchise player and Franz was there already. and before the comments are littered with defenses of Black and Suggs, these are two guards that cannot dribble, pass or shoot, tough to be a point guard in the league when you can't do those. In the last series these two lottery picks put a collective stat line of: 19 PPG 7 REB 5.5 APG 4 TO 34% FG 28% 3PT again, COMBINED! Your two lead point guards have roughly a 1:1 assist/turnover ratio, and people wonder why we can't get in sets Mosley should've been fired, but since Fultz left he hasn't had a PG on the roster and Weltman's attempts have been, Tyus Jones.

As a Magic fan, I have no problem admitting that my favorite remaining player in the playoffs is Cade Cunningham. You’d think I hated the guy (or his team) with how some of their fans have been in my mentions but I’m sure we’ve got some rotten ones too.
