In a development on the personal front, I came home yesterday after surgery on Monday to remove my right kidney. When I was diagnosed with cancer, I felt faint. I’m now a bit battered, bruised and scarred but, more importantly, I’m feeling positive, thankful and fortunate.

Fair play to MC for getting the interview. As for OM, I can't think of a less contrite interview in so long. I can't imagine Oisin's agents have advised him to slag off media and be unremorseful about the girl involved. Will save under 'how not to answer a crisis media interview'

@SunderlanDave @jamesaknight Right, but this isn't his first offence. Drugs in France, lengthy ban in UK for breaking covid protocols and being over the limit on race days. And now this. I'm not demonizing him, I'm saying he's human. But "we all make mistakes" isn't going to cut it. He needs support.

@JonIvanDuke @jamesaknight If every sports star or famous person who has failed a breath test is banned from their job what is that going to achieve? He made a mistake outside of his working life he has a problem which needs addressing if it's a big problem go to rehab 1 more misdemeanor cud be the end.

So basically zero impact for a millionaire who can afford a personal driver. Everyone in racing can get back to fawning over him and then acting all shocked when the next incident happens.
