UK should have adopted nuclear at scale decades back. Plentiful uranium supply with no oil dependency. France managed to build over 50 nuclear power stations over 25 years. We are now straddled with a DC type energy source that relies on the sun shining or wind blowing. Now we've got an old liberal white boomer telling us to look at plastics as an energy source. You couldn't script the liberal progressive ideological stupidness.

Now would also be a very good time to get serious about reusing/recycling plastic ( using renewable energy) as the oil shortage will put pressure on price and supply. Obvs it will take time but again if we want independence let’s make ourselves independant
