@CultureCrave @CEOAdam It sucks that AMC is the biggest chain because it's by far the worst (at least every single one I've been to in the STL area). Every time I've gone it's a terrible experience. I will always recommend going to Marcus (formerly also Wehrenberg). Not always perfect but way better

@WongUpdates Honestly, I enjoyed it and everything it was setting up, even if it wasn't perfect but it's very easy to see why others didn't. In retrospect, it's a movie that nothing it built up matters at all anymore so it's almost become worse than what people ever thought it was lol

Just like last year, I've seen a million clips of the halftime show and nothing from the actual game.

@prymbanega Halftime used to be just a marching band. For anyone who's tuning in for the actual sport halftime show is the time to finish making food use bathroom etc

@prymbanega I mean yes and no. It's definitely evolved into being an event in of itself. What they discovered years ago was that a portion of people tuned in just for the halftime. So now they hire artists outside of what fans are into, to capture an audience that wouldn't otherwise tune in

The fact that the halftime show is the main event and not the sport itself tells me everything about American sports

I watched the highlights of the game. A few things: 1. Cris Collinsworth called a horrible game. I don't care what your opinion is, talk to a wall, but Mike Tirico did a great job. 2. If I were the #Broncos. I would be pissed. Because that should have been them losing to the #Seahawks, not the #Patriots. 3. The Patriots had no rights being in the Super Bowl. 4. Drake Maye did not deserve second place MVP or be in the consideration. Great season by him though. 5. HC Mike Macdonald should have been Head Coach of the Year. 6. OC Klint Kubiak should have been Assistant Coach of the Year. 7. Kenneth Walker played like a 99 overall Madden character. 8. I was told their DL was nasty and scary. Not sure what they meant, but cook I guess? 9. Pats got a good CB Gonzo and that's about it. 10. Diggs should have not been at the game anyway. He should have been at his trial since he was nonexistence. 11. Mack Hollins played like a 4th rounder. 12. Seattle's defense is insane.

I think this Super Bowl may be a psy-op. For the Halftime Show, we have Bad Bunny, who nobody in the music industry was talking about. But hey, he sings in Spanish and likes to wear dresses! And before that, we’ll have Green Day, who denounces Trump at their shows. This isn’t entertainment. It’s a political statement from the NFL.

@hawkblogger As a Rams fan, I was rooting for them. But it is pretty poetic justice that Kupp not only gets to go back to the SB, but the receiver they essentially wrote off and tried to convince to retire, was instrumental in beating them lol If it had to be anyone else, I'm glad it's him

@FilmsFallout If Moldaver and Wilzig end up being over 200 without cryo gen or or being synth, does this cheapen House's pursuit of living forever if others are doing it so easily? I assume (or hope) they will explain it at some point, but right now his goal looks silly in retrospect.

I do think the show might be over staying its welcome on people being alive pre war and also 200+ years later. I get it. Cryo exists, ghoul, vault Tec executives etc. but it’s seeming a little convenient on the writing where any twist someone is alive or where they are from “they were alive before the bombs dropped!?” And I have no reaction anymore. Like Wilzig this last episode I just went “sure why not”. I hope the show runners don’t rely on just making anyone pre war alive currently for convenience reasons. It used to take a bit of creativity to think how do we get them alive present day and alive in the past. Put down your pitch forks. Still love the show, just hope they stop relying on this so much.

@Chrome_Bonehead It's exactly what happened on marvel rivals and despite it being a very solid game with a lot of replayability with an IP I care deeply for, I don't like feeling manipulated. Have not touched it in months because it's blink and you miss it. Games shouldn't feel like a job

@MacticsG1 I'm old enough to remember when Destiny 1 was touted and advertised just as much for PvP as PvE. The kinda becoming a legend doing either or sorta thing. I can definitely say the stagnation of PvP is the main reason I stopped playing and most people I know too.

The best way to keep destiny healthy will always be to keep PvP healthy. Yes it is a primarily PvE game and always should be, but once you get done playing all of the PvE content, PvP needs to be that endlessly re-playable backbone.

At some point when reviewing plays, the league should consider adding a speed threshold for anything involving the element of time. When you slow plays down to 1/100th the speed, it distorts what actually happened and makes it look like, in this case, Cooks possessed the ball for seconds prior to losing it. The game is not played in slow motion or frame by frame. For a catch: A) Secure control of the ball ✅ B) Two feet down in bounds ✅ C) After (a) and (b) have been fulfilled, clearly performs any act common to the game (e.g., extend the ball forward, take an additional step, tuck the ball away and turn upfield, or avoid or ward off an opponent), or he maintains control of the ball long enough to do so. C is where there is a judgement needed since A and B are clearly met. Now consider this note to the rule: If a player, who satisfied (a) and (b), but has not satisfied (c), contacts the ground and loses control of the ball, it is an incomplete pass if the ball hits the ground before he regains control, or if he regains control out of bounds. Because Cooks did lose control of the ball when he contacted the ground and the ball never contacted the ground, it was ruled an interception by Denver.

My current hyperfixation is the bizarre era of PS2 games that were made to coincide with 360 titles but were entirely different (and often drastically worse) games.
