So today I had a heart attack which was the last thing I was expecting. Came on whilst swimming and am super glad to have decided to go to the ER. Had a big clot in a coronary artery and some occlusions. Had a stent put in.

@SiggiGG There's definitely a need for mix. I think the next big thing in gaming will be finding the tools and tech to be able to incorporate procedurally generated content with 'Enough' hand build content blended with some clever use of AI to make it appear seemless and cost effective

@SiggiGG At what point is a world too big in a game? I think if you were to couple your thoughts with working out how to make these worlds non-shitty multiplayer / community experiences to fill those huge worlds along with great developer built narrative I think you are on to something.

My prediction of what will define "next gen gaming" in the next 5 years: Huge worlds and more detailed than anything we've seen so far. Lighting and more polygons will play a part too, but with SSDs being standard and new IO tech like DirectStorage, things are about to change.

Big news everyone!

A very sad time for us all. My thoughts go out to Robert's family and all of my colleagues. We have lost a truly great leader and someone I looked up to and had the utmost respect for. Rest in peace Robert.

Been stuck at working from home for 2 months and have used the extra spare time to fire up @EveOnline again. Have to say, being a peon and just rolling out and shooting things in 0.0 is a ton of fun.
