@mitch_fretton @TalkingTHFC Surely it’s a case of motivation & basics for next 7 games? If he keeps us up he can clear out the dross & bring in players who can play his style. We need a manager with conviction & he ticks that box but we’ll also need a quality DoF as Lange isn’t the answer.

@TalkingTHFC I do agree with that. But De Zerbi is a complete culture change (again). I’m not even sure we have the quality of players to implement his brand of football. It wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if this is still arrogance at the top and looking more long-term than short.

Binning off a Poch reunion this summer for De Zerbi. Spurs are throwing an absolutely ridiculous amount of money at him as well.

I think De Zerbi is a GOOD manager. I like the way his teams set up and play football, but is he the right fit for #THFC? Absolute NOT! He’s fallen out with all the owners he’s worked under, which played a part in all his departures. Knowing how difficult and incompetent our owners are, De Zerbi is probably the worst fit for right now. Giving him a FIVE YEAR contract is just mind blowing. Pochettinho was the last manager who lasted more than 2 years. De Zerbi will be gone within 2 years as well, that’s if he even keeps us up! If it is him, I’ll of course get behind him, but I am so unconvinced. IF we do stay up, keeping De Zerbi over Poch in the summer would be yet another horrific decision, but right now we can’t really think about the summer and next season….

Igor is gone, had to be done that’s half the job, now we have to get the right person to save this season, someone who knows his formation knows the league and will stick to his team, give them belief and get a tune out the best players, last throw of the dice #Spurs
