Well, this is difficult. I love AAPL and have owned the stock for decades. But it does well because they had the bright idea of getting them into schools early, giving people a comfort factor with them, and creating a captive market for their expensive products, just as Windows survived with comfortable customers. Until Windows 11, of course. They can ESAD now.

That is how the screen on the new computer that arrived today looked..until.. Power off. Reboot F2 BIOS Secure boot off. Legacy pendrive boot. It never even had a chance to set itself up when..This install will delete... My crowd is not gamers but it will be a happy day for everyone when we can put that W11 in the ground where it belongs. Family, friends, neighbors-This is Mint install #7 in the last month. Not one person has had a problem.

Ok, here's something I want to vent about: @Microsoft how many more fucking times am I going to see the screen‽ I've had this computer for years, and you keep wanting me to "set it up" again after updates I don't want M365 I don't want Office I don't want OneDrive I don't want to have to have a Microsoft account just to log into my computer Let my computer just be *MY* damn computer. Because at this rate, as soon as SteamOS works with Intel and Nvidia, I'm ditching windows on all my machines. This is ridiculous. My computer was already set up the first time I set it up when it was still on Windows 10 a few years ago.

Last year I finally bought a Purple Plus Mattress - 11" GelFlex Grid, and was finally satisfied. Prior to this I had tried a couple of memory foam types and gave them away after a week...Just too hot. About $1,000. I am a lifelong insomniac. The first night on the Purple I slept nine hours. Because of the price I had resisted buying one for years.

My family's culture has always been rural, literally for centuries. After supper usually it was the males who would take a walk around the property. Maybe it was a territorial tie to the land. We were farmers, back in England. None of us has stayed long in a city, and the thought of a condo is repulsive.

I ended up with a diamond anyway because my mom gave us her old ring to melt down and reuse and it happened to have a diamond in it, and I wasn't about to make him pay more money for a different gem.
