@ScotlandSky This is the only way to stop blatant cheating in football. Ban the players guilty of obvious play acting.

@wuds100 Sorry but Tino wants shot. His positioning alone for the first shot and then no reaction for the second.

@agbnufc_ @MagpieGroupNUFC The problem is if they'd played with intensity and the alleged "Howe Way" we'd have won that game at a canter. Zero leadership on the pitch or off it. Absolutely shocking and Howe deserves whatever comes his way after 2 derby performances like that.

This is what happens when you build a team around passion, runners and 'leadership' by the way, which the manager is responsible for. It's not enough. You need actual good technical footballers and we barely have any, they've fucked this up massively.

@SkySportsNews I think he needs to take his head out of his a**e and maybe watch that back. Palmer clearly stands on Woltemade's foot. If anything it's a foul to Newcastle. What an absolute melt!

@NufcMags93 @toonchants Exactly the same around me mate. It's a toxic environment at the moment and it's no wonder the players can't perform at home at the moment. Shit scared to make a mistake.

Gordon was fucking honking and has a pea heart. He’s playing not to get injured before the World Cup imo. HOWEVER booing your own player is fucking embarrassing. Do better lads and lasses

@paulwallsend There's a few of his big name players hanging him out to dry. It's a 2 way street but ultimately once the players are on the pitch they need to to take a large part of the blame. It's awful to see such a positive fella appear broken.

@jackm1892 @psmithy388 I agree mate. 2nd and 3rd goals against Liverpool were poor on his behalf but I genuinely think he had an excellent game yesterday. He's played 34 games off the belt which is ludicrous. I'm not sure anyone would be able to keep high standards after playing so many games.

@jackm1892 If you watch it back Tonali gambles and presses the FB leaving Jensen in acres of space. This is the problem time and time again. CM jump on the press when they're not close enough to do so and leave gaping holes. Our flat 3 in midfield is killing us game after game.

@jackm1892 We should have kept Lascelles and brought Targett back just have the cover. I thought Thiaw was excellent yesterday along with Botman. Probably the only 2. Sadly let down by gaping holes in the midfield.

@CraigHope_DM Playing Miley at FB could allow you to do the same thing and keep your wingers wide at the same time. All it does is create a box in midfield creating an overload. It's not a hard thing to coach or implement but it can be a risk and we know Eddie doesn't like taking risks.

Danny Murphy highlights this on MOTD - Villa flooding the middle of the pitch. They had two wingers who morphed into No.10s, creating three in that area. Something to consider for NUFC, whose wingers first receive the ball in very wide areas.

@tomhylands @FA_PGMOL For a bit of context. The Bournemouth image doesn't show the Liverpool player playing him onside. The other image the striker is ahead of the last man.

🇩🇰🔥 After 180 minutes without a goal, Will Osula is back in training and ready to bring the "chaos factor" we’ve been missing! 🚀 While we’ve looked a bit "safe" in attack lately, Osula offers something completely different off the bench to help unlock those stubborn low-block defences. ✅ The Physicality: At 6'4" with lightning pace, he’s a nightmare for tired defenders in the final 20 minutes. ✅ Tactical Variety: He doesn’t just link play; he drives directly at the heart of the opposition. ✅ The Goal Threat: He’s got that "shoot-on-sight" mentality that can turn a drab 0-0 into a vital 3 points. With the PSV, Villa and Liverpool on the horizon, having Osula back to inject some "fire and vigour" into the frontline is surely exactly what the doctor ordered!!!!! 🏥⚽️ What do you think? 🤔 #NUFC #NUFCNews #Newcastle #EPL

@NUFCgallowgate In the Premier League, a player is not allowed to grab and pull an opponent's shirt to guard the ball. While physical contact is part of the game, pulling a shirt is considered a "holding" offence under Law 12, which is a direct free-kick or penalty. plus that tap is not a foul
