@Chels_HQ @talkSPORT That would make sense if we were buying them cheap, but we overpay on pretty much every transfer. Who's giving us our money back for Gittens, Garnacho, Jorgensen, Fofana, etc?
I don't think that's their plan, the problem is whatever plan they do have is clearly shit.

Ian 'Moose' Abrahams: "Under this ownership, I don't think it really matters to this club whether they finish 10th, 12th or 6th. All that matters to them is their project; to get in players and sell them for a profit after they're done with them."

@NoContextBrits Gotta use toothpicks. Rookie mistake, you hate to see it.
English

@chelseayouth True. You almost need them to get a monopoly so at least all of the games are in one place. It's definitely not a fan-friendly model at the moment.
English

@Jon_DC91 the only way an in-house production becomes the PL's primary method of domestic distribution is if Sky and everyone else just can't afford to pay for rights (unlikely), and Sky need the PL to remain viable themselves, so they're locked in together forever imo
English

@CarefreeYouth Where would you see Barco playing for us? LB or CM? He reminds me a bit of Billy G, but that might just be his build.
English

Will be peanuts in the bigger picture

🚨 EXCL: Liverpool to pay max £6.8m for signing of Rio Ngumoha from Chelsea. Tribunal rules #LFC owe #CFC initial £2.8m + £4m in potential bonuses relating to senior appearances, contracts & England honours. Also 20% of profit on future sale @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/70243…
English

@CarefreeYouth Think we'll see Enzo/maybe even Santos in the 10 a lot more often too. Don't think Palmer will play back to back games very often for the rest of the season.
English

@OllieGlanvill I think it's more in keeping with the spirit of the law than what we have now. Feel like we'd get a lot more goals, but be interesting to see how strikers and CBs changed their approach.
English

All it does is move the line of measurement. It’s a nonsense idea

@CarefreeYouth @journalism_rp It would be good for the match day experience I guess, but it depends a bit on the position. Shim would be good, Derry has probably earned it, RKM would be cool after his contract signing - but Gittens/Guiu/Steve probably need a full 90, and Garnacho hasn't played much either.
English

@Jon_DC91 @journalism_rp They can all start.
You can have experience on the bench. You have 9 spots on the bench. 8 can be experienced. I expect those he sees as experienced and on the bench are on it cause he wants to rest. So if needed he can bring on. If winning he can bring on said youngster
English

@CarefreeYouth @journalism_rp Another problem is most of our second-string men's squad needs minutes too, and a lot of them are U21.
Guiu, 20
Gittens, 21
Estevao, 18,
Santos, 21
Essugo, 20,
Josh, 19
Hato, 19
Wouldn't be surprised if they all feature, and we probably want experience on the bench just in case.
English

@journalism_rp Carabao cup vs Arsenal two legs or a final. Cant see it.
FA Cup is likely the only chance academy players get a chance this season and the further you get the more likely you get PL sides and rotation is less likely.
Early rounds are the best chance or likely nothing
English

@_JoeAlexanderr Wrong system or wrong players in the system. James, Chilly, Alonso, Cole, were/are all very good finishers.
English

@FaceValueCFC Every fanbase would do it, they're just the only ones who do it with a holier than thou attitude.
English

@1JamesCHELSEA Still think he should have come in after Tuchel/Potter. Say what you want about his tactics, but he knows how to build a spine and build that us against the world mentality.
English

@Jai_Mcintosh In terms of quality, no. But he couldn't stay fit here for whatever reason. It was a good move for him and RLC in that sense.
English

In all seriousness, have Chelsea really upgraded on him? I am unsure.
EuroFoot@eurofootcom
🇺🇸⚡️ This Christian Pulisic (27) assist vs Napoli was incredible. 🤯
English

@JimboSlice8511 @terryflewers Except the PGMOL said he was sent off for DOGSO, not serious foul play. If it was for the high challenge, he'd have had a three game ban instead.
English

@terryflewers High foot showing studs and the studs make contact with mbeumo knee. Sanchez tackle is a red card tackle anywhere on the pitch.
English

@1JamesCHELSEA You're right, but that was a very Sanchez-like goal to concede. Complete with awkward stumble 😂
English

@_JoeAlexanderr They expected to find a buyer I guess. We bought two strikers to replace him, it's only an issue now because one got injured. If Delap was fit and Jackson had gone on Saturday would people still be expecting a third striker to come in? All the noise was about Xavi and Lopez.
English

So after another £200 million + spent, Marc Guiu who couldn’t buy game time at Sunderland will be starting for Chelsea. Not a club serious about winning.
