Now our VC, who already held a contentious squad position, who publicly flirted with leaving during a disastrous run of results, is likely to be sold.

@KerryCa69031147 I think the reality is Enzo costs roughly around £24m on the books (105 amortized over 7 years + 180k a week) so for £24m per year can you find someone (or two) who can lock down midfield as a 6 and a winger/secondary attacker who can get you 10 + 5 and I think you can

@_JoeAlexanderr Ya, my concern is that peak palmer, Jackson equal to JP, and Enzo, we didn't score/shoot enough.
We need palmer back to literal world class, + both wingers need to be so much better. That's so much if relative to a guy that consistently creates and outputs.

Midfield is being rebuilt then. If you’re going to really build for Alonso then you get a second #6 next to Caicedo - Tchouameni, Onana, L. Camara in that order imo
