@rndmburneracct I mean I’d rather play like Newcastle than whatever Rosenior, Potter or Poch cooked up. I’m not sure if it’s a game model that will compete (doubt it imo) but Chelsea are too far from that for it to be remotely concerning anyway

@cfcjordan1 He’s genuinely a fantastic coach to ‘build around’. He has arguably the best track record in England of improving young players and building a cohesive side.

I wonder how he feels now. It’s the delusion and self-grandeur of everyone at board level that is killing this football club. The owners, the directors and the recruitment staff are all poor at their jobs but think they’re the best around.

Clearlake have genueinly sucked all the hope out of me as a fan, I’ve never felt this way supporting Chelsea. I will always love my Chelsea, but for the first time ever, I don’t have any hope that we get better. This is what we are.

@flameosumeet @olijcarpenter They maybe do. I’m sceptical and I think if they floated it the PR would be a huge loss. At the end of the day they’re a private equity/credit firm so it’s other people’s money being lit on fire.

@olijcarpenter @flameosumeet I don’t see how they make their money back on current trajectory. They’re £4.5 billion in with zero value added to the real estate (stadium), to the commercial success or brand value. I struggle to see where the value has been added besides the apparent op-ex cuts they claimed.

Let alone constantly isolating fans and feeding them tabloid gossip that belittle them like claims of an ‘elite sporting project’, ‘willingness to win’ ’patience’ etc. The football team itself is poor and constantly mismanaged. There’s shady agent dealings and odd hiring practices from one particular company. The whole thing is a farce.
