@RetroBuiltGames That looks like a pretty versatile kit. I only normally crimp small connectors. I've crimped thousands with the IWISS and I have nothing but praise for them. The jaws are formed via EDM instead of being stamped.

@RetroBuiltGames And for slightly larger crimps.

@RC_Sterling Chromecast just narrowly squeaks into your 10 year window.

@SmallBatchA @bradanlane Interesting to see the internals of this feeder. Couple of questions. Can this feeder index 2mm components as it references the 4mm sprocket teeth? Also how does it deal with the increasing cover tape cassette diameter, slippage in the gear box/tape cassette?
English

@bradanlane In the diagram below, cover tape is wound up on a reel at (1).. empty component tape travels along the arrows and exits underneath at (2)

The @Raspberry_Pi Debug Probe has the cuteness factor nailed. The clear enclosure was a pleasant surprise.

@Coelacant1 @Hertzz58 I suspect lowering your air pressure will probably help with launching parts. What psi are you currently running them at?
English

@Coelacant1 Interesting that you have a homing flag on the c/nozzle axis. Are you using OpenPNP to drive your machine?

@3dpNero My guess is amateur video editors with spare time on their hands.

@Aeroengineer1 @idlehandsdev This is good advice. Also the longer room is better if you are setting up a smt line.
English

@idlehandsdev Green is further away from two major, outside entrances. If a true clean room, this will help keep down potential contaminants. Having a hanging curtain entrance between the garage and the rest will also help, though I imagine it will be hard to keep particle count down

@rasteri How mad were you when the pcb arrived with the identification numbers on the outer face? Some fabs offer the option of picking which side they are on. Tip - Fabs usually place numbering on the top layer so it's best to layout your pcbs with the outer surface on the bottom layer.

@sulfuroid @AloisSchmalzl I don’t think I’ve ever seen a purple solder mask. Looks cool. 👍

New #LightningNetwork point of sale PCB revision 2 to accept #btc or LN payment. SO EXCITED TO SOLDER IT TONIGHT

@aceaquigg @CoreElecAU I've been eye this oven up for my next reflow build. Do you have any more pictures of the white pcb you removed as well as the rear of the stock control board?

@AlfonsoJLuna @fast_code_r_us Have you seen @technoblogy's blog post and example for this display? technoblogy.com/show?3YB0
English

Got the display working using the initialization sequence from @fast_code_r_us 's library. The framerate is too low as it is configured in low power mode. Let's see if we can increase it.

@fast_code_r_us Not sure if you saw this...?technoblogy.com/show?3YB0

Dear @digikey. Thank you for being awesome. I ordered similar parts from you and a competitor on Monday afternoon. Your shipment was on my desk Tuesday at noon. Competitor "just" shipped and package won't arrive till next week.
