The two leaders in the Great Lakes Region that behave like past African chiefs that betrayed fellow Africans, and sold many, driven by hate and greed. DR Congo’s Felix Tshisekedi and his Burundian sidekick Evariste Ndayishimiye aka Gen. Neva, have refused to give peace or political stability in their countries a chance. To refuse to see this is to be blinded either by greed, or by ideological alignment. The central ideology at the heart of the anti-Rwanda hostility of Tshisekedi & Mdayishimiye (same as what the world saw in Rwanda in 94) also serves to distract their people from their spectacular incompetence as leaders. This situation - whereby two greedy leaders, totally incompetent at the duties of governance and therefore substitute hate for governance - now has taken on another face. Powerful foreign powers are exploiting their weaknesses, and therefore egging them further on in their hateful agendas against neighbors (fellow Africans), in exchange of course for access to resources. I therefore posit that Tshisekedi and Ndayishimiye are like the few shameful African chiefs or kings of past centuries who, rather than resist predatory foreigners (the white invaders hunting for slaves or looking to exploit Africans in other ways), became their willing collaborators, tools, even lackeys. These few shameful chiefs would betray, even sell fellow Africans away to the invaders: the slave raiders abducting people; the adventurers looking to cart away ivory, gold, other precious resources, away, back to their countries overseas. And what did the foolish African chiefs get in return? Trinkets. Mirrors, bottles of alcohol, rolls of cloth, tins of tobacco, other worthless consumer trash like that. Plus some money, in the form of cowrie shells. So, when you see Tshisekedi giving away his country, practically begging powerful foreigners to come dig up and take whatever they want, in exchange for promises they will give him military support, and for promises his enemies will become theirs, and (you can be certain), for suitcases of dollars delivered to his Gombe offices, what do you see? He is exactly the kind of dupe of a chief that white slave traders, adventurers of all kinds, sailors in the past gave trinkets and cowrie shells, similar rubbish, to sell them fellow Africans; to betray fellow Africans. The same applies to Ndayishimiye, except that Ndayishimiye is much cheaper. The Burundian president is just a sub-agent, sub-contracted by Tshisekedi for the latter’s dirty work. The greedy poor man of Burundi has totally failed even to ensure the most basic necessities of life for his people, like fuel for vehicles. But he is busy in Congo war adventures, to make a quick buck for himself, and profit off his hate of the Tutsi ethnicity. This is the disaster of the region. Two of its leaders fully have the mentalities of seventeenth century chiefs that became infamous for being collaborators-with-invaders.
