@JonathanHa70824 We aren’t talking athletic department here, this is donations to NIL alone and yes, the donors can control how much they want to give and base that decision on whatever they’d like. Now to answer your question, the amount of big donors I do not know. I think success=funds.

Despite multiple posts from fans of other schools claiming Kentucky is out on Momcilovic, that is false. Kentucky will offer him the most money and the best role. How much he values this offer in comparison to the other schools is what we do not know.

@BBN4_L Unfortunately not the way it works. Can’t just go ask for 5 million & get. Once again what is the #? I see all these posts about this player getting X, it’s laughable. Next question how many “big” boosters do you think has? Let’s say 2 million.

@JonathanHa70824 I think the number depends largely on who we target, and who we’ve proven we can get, and how those players look in the eye of the donors. I think the more Pope can prove on the recruiting trail, the more certain donors will buy in.

@JonathanHa70824 Okay here’s an example for you. The same article about the ACC stated of their 18 member basketball teams Louisville’s NIL ranked 8th. Which is false. But teams do not have to report the money the receive from companies. Like the ones I mentioned prior. We have the money.

There’s so many issues with college sports currently and instead of fixing any of them, they want to change the one thing that didn’t need to be fixed lol. The bubble was atrocious this year and they think we need to add EIGHT more schools to the field?
College football Playoff becoming 24 teams is a joke too. One thing I love about CFB is that every game matters. One of the best regular seasons in all of sports IMO.
Now we get to look forward to 7-5 teams making the Playoff and 16-15 teams making the NCAA Tournament. Fun stuff!!

One of the best bigs left in the portal is FAU transfer 6’10” Devin Williams. He tells me he’s recently heard from the following: - Arizona (visiting tomorrow) - North Carolina - Virginia Tech - Oklahoma - Lots of other HM+ schools Williams finished top-3 in the country in blocks last season, establishing himself as one of the most elite rim protectors. His 11.1% BLK rate placed him in the 98th percentile. Offensively, he inserted himself as a lob threat with the ability to knock down open jumpers. Averaged 7.5 PPG 5.2 REB and 2.6 BLK per game last season in 23.8 MIN. @dmanzan14
